Welcome to Hile. The little town full of nature and culture, probably know as town with lots of tongba bars. After three hours of most scenic and comfortable drive, passing through various scenic stops like Bhedetar, Namaste Jharna, (Water Fall) Tamar river base and Dhankuta, so this is an amazing route that passes through so many diversified settlements within such a short distance. One can reach Hile, which is located at the altitude of 6500 ft and of course your magnificent resort, The Horizon Mountain Resort awaits you to indulge in various activities to make your holiday memorable. Hile is an appetizer for a higher trek to Arun Valley, Kanchanjunga and Makalu. Short trek, long trek, morning jungle walks, sort village walks, the list begins. One of the most spectacular views of eastern Himalayas can be viewed from this hill station. It has a big tourist destination and boasts amazing scenery of surrounding Himalayas. Getting to Hile is never a big deal. There are frequent buses playing from Biratnagar, Dharan, Kathmandu and Kakadbhitta. Even if you fly from Kathmandu in the early morning flight, you are already at Hile by noon.
